An orthodox Jewish girls’ high school designed to engage and inspire teenage girls to reach their full potential as young Jewish women.

The needs of the Toronto Jewish community continue to evolve and expand. For many families, the current girls’ high schools available simply aren’t the right fit; it is time to build something new. It is time to create a new educational space that recognizes that student learning styles stretch beyond a desk and a chair. A place where hands-on learning is seen as equally valuable to the classic classroom. Moriah is that place.

Approach & Vision

Transitioning to high school can be a challenging time. This stage in a young woman’s life is a time when she seeks to make sense of the world, and her place in it. We are committed to creating an environment that respects and supports the emotional and social growth of our students. Our faculty is dedicated to engaging students with compassion and kindness while encouraging their intellectual, social, emotional, spiritual and academic success.

Our Curriculum

The General Studies courses offered at Moriah High
School are all of the Ministry of Ontario required courses that would be found in any other Ontario high school which will allow her to enter the post-secondary institution of her choice.
